Today I woke up in a good mood. That good mood has been following me all day.
Walking to the bus station I found a robin egg on the ground but I didn’t pick it up, hoping that it would still be there when I came back
I had an amazing morning with an amazing friend.
I bought two books, one of which is the 19th book of my favourite series.
I got a text message from my a friend that just made me day even better.
I met the two most beautiful 9 month old baby girls. One of them, I think her name was Lily, kept reaching for my crystal around my neck so I picked her up and she played with my necklace and seemed very happy and giggly.
Then I bussed to my friends work with her, my bus driver on the way back was the most awesome bus driver ever. He was super nice, he let 3 people on for free because at the train station they don't even sell bus tickets and the bus doesn't give out change and it's ridiculous to pay 5$ for a bus ride when it only costs 3$ but you can't get the twonie back. And he was just really nice the whole way so I made him an origami frog and it seemed to have made him even happier.
On my walk back home, the egg shell was still there, the birdie inside had already hatched and the shell was getting eaten by flies so I picked it up and brought it home.
It’s only 1pm, I’m not sure how the rest of my day will go but even if something not the greatest happens, I’ll get over it and I’ll be okay because the first part of my day is just so awesome.
Plus, I’m in love with this song… One Day I Slowly Floated Away – Eisley
