Pokémon

I had the most awesome conversation with Alejandro, the guy I work with, today. It started.. I’m not sure how it started but something he said made me think of how I found Hamtaro “zoodles” in my dad’s cupboard. He thought they were awesome. We then started talking about how we both used to watch Hamtaro as kids. I said I missed watching Card Captors, but I guess that’s a girl’s show more than for guys, he never really watched it, same with Sailor Moon. Then we started talking about Pokémon. I found all my pokémon cards in a binder in my room. I’ve got SO many! He’d started collecting them by his friends giving him their doubles and then he’d trade them for better cards and just keep getting more and better cards. Now his brother has them all. As a kid I felt like if I watched Yu-gi-oh I’d be betraying Pokémon, so I never watched it really. Then we started talking about Pogs, he thought I wouldn’t remember them but I lived in a hick town.. of course I was going to remember them. I’m pretty sure I still have them all somewhere.
Oh.. I was waiting for the bus yesterday and some Japanese girl with Pikachu ear muffs walked by me.. It was funny.
OH and crazy bones. That, I never played or really owned, but a lot of my friends did. I remember seeing so many commercials about them. They were newer than pogs though.. I think.
